Day 1: Phnom Penh to Koh Kong Krao – Island Escape & Ocean Adventures (B/L/D)

The journey begins early in the morning with a road trip from Phnom Penh. After a hearty local breakfast in Kampong Speu, the drive continues southwest toward Chrouy Brous Village. Once you arrive at the village, it’s time to hop aboard a boat for a scenic 50-minute ride across the sparkling Gulf of Thailand to your island destination—Koh Kong Krao, the largest island in Cambodia and a true hidden gem.

Upon arrival at the island, take a moment to unpack and settle in. The beach awaits, so get ready for some fun! After a delicious lunch prepared with fresh local ingredients, you’ll head back out on the boat for an afternoon of fishing and snorkeling. The crystal-clear waters surrounding the island are teeming with marine life, making it the perfect spot to dive in and explore beneath the surface.

Whether you're angling for the catch of the day or floating above coral reefs, this part of the trip promises a mix of relaxation and adventure.

As the sun begins to set, return to shore for a laid-back beachside dinner. Enjoy the fresh sea breeze, the sound of waves lapping the shore, and a meal cooked right on the island. You'll spend the night camping in tents under the stars—an unforgettable outdoor experience surrounded by the untouched nature of Koh Kong Krao.

Day 2: Koh Kong Krao to Phnom Penh – Beaches, Villages & Departure (B/L/-)

Wake up to the peaceful sounds of the island and enjoy breakfast by the beach. Afterward, take a short hike or boat ride to visit the island’s famed Third Beach. Known for its soft sand, clear waters, and tranquil atmosphere, it’s the perfect place for a morning stroll, a quick swim, or just soaking up the natural beauty one last time.

Following your beach exploration, lunch will be served seaside—fresh, flavorful, and relaxed, just like the island itself. Before leaving Koh Kong Krao, you'll make a stop at a nearby floating village, where you'll get a glimpse into the unique lifestyle of the local community. The stilted homes, fishing boats, and daily routines offer a rare insight into life on the water.

From there, the return journey begins. You’ll head back by boat to Chrouy Brous Village, then continue by road to Phnom Penh. Expect to arrive in the late afternoon or early evening, carrying with you memories of white sand beaches, ocean adventures, and a peaceful escape into nature, safe and sound, and maybe just a little sun-kissed.
