Cambodia Golf Program 9 Days 8 Nights with a history tour
Day 1: Arrival
Arrive at Phnom Penh international airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2: Golf at Grand Phnom Penh Golf Club (B/-/-)
Golf at Grand Phnom Penh Golf club (well maintained and private Jack Nicklaus design) including caddie and cart. After playing golf, return to the hotel and relax.
Day 3: Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng (B/-/-)
On this day, we visit the harrowing genocide museum at Tuol Sleng and the Killing Fields of Choeng Ek, both enduring memorials to the gruesome and brutal rule of the Khmer Rouge.
Note: A visit to Tuol Sleng and the Killing Fields is a very disturbing experience for many, and guests should be forewarned as to the extent and graphic nature of such a visit. It remains a terrifying reminder of the atrocities committed under Khmer Rouge rule and visitors will walk away having gained some understanding of what happened to a generation lost and the turmoil it has placed on Cambodian society.
Day 4: Golf at Garden City Golf Club (B/-/-)
Golf at Garden City Golf Club (Best condition course and design by Weerayudth Phetbuasak) including caddie and cart.
Day 5: Fly to Siem Reap & Golf at Siem Reap Booyoung Country Club (B/-/-)
Morning time, transfer to Phnom Penh Airport, and fly to Siem Reap. Your driver will transfer to a hotel or golf course based on tee time availability.
Golf Siem Reap Booyoung Country Club including cart and caddie (well-maintained layout with wide fairways) including caddie and cart.
Day 6: Angkor Halfday Excursion (B/-/-)
This morning you will have the option to visit the magnificent Angkor Wat. This temple is the largest religious building ever constructed and is one of the wonders of the world. Believed to have been undertaken as a temple and mausoleum for King Suryavarman II at the peak of the Khmer empire in the first half of the 12th century, Angkor Wat is the best-preserved of the Angkorian temples.
Later, we continue to visit Ta Prohm (Jungle-tomb raider temple) through Victory gate ( South Gate ) into Angkor Thom and continue on foot until after Bayon. Return to your hotel to relax.
Day 7: Golf at Phokeethra Golf Club (B/-/-)
Golf at Phokeethra Country Club (home of the Asian Tour's Johnnie Walker Cambodian Open) including caddie and cart. After playing golf, transfer to the hotel.
Day 8: Golf at Angkor Golf Resort (B/-/-)
Golf at Angkor Golf Resort (challenging and well maintained Nick Faldo design) including caddie and cart for 18 holes. Return to your hotel after golf and the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 9: Departure
Transfer to airport for departure flight.
