Cambodia Beach Break Tour
4 Days / 3 Nights
Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival & Transfer to Sihanoukville (-/L/-)
Your journey begins in Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s vibrant capital, often called the Pearl of Asia. After landing, take a moment to soak in the local atmosphere before hitting the road. From Phnom Penh, you’ll travel by car to the coastal city of Sihanoukville, a drive that takes approximately 4 to 5 hours. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your hotel and have the rest of the day to unwind, breathe in the salty sea air, and start exploring the beautiful beaches.
Day 2: Sihanoukville (B/L/-)
Sihanoukville stands out from most other Cambodian cities. Built in the late 1950s as Cambodia’s only deep-sea port, it’s one of the country’s newer and more modern urban areas. Unlike the historic charm of cities like Phnom Penh or Siem Reap, Sihanoukville feels more global, urbanized, and rapidly developing.
Today, it’s a popular beach destination — a go-to weekend getaway for many Cambodians, and an emerging hotspot for international visitors. Despite its growing tourism, it still retains a quirky charm: don’t be surprised to see cows casually crossing the road or be greeted by curious looks from friendly locals.
Most beaches are lined with umbrellas, beachside eateries, bungalows, and hotels, but tourism here hasn’t overtaken the natural vibe. The coastlines remain relatively wild, clean, and full of unspoiled beauty.
On your second day, you’re free to explore at your own pace. Stroll along the white sandy beaches, take a dip in the sea, or try fun activities like swimming, snorkeling, or diving. Then kick back, relax, and enjoy some fresh seafood by the water. You’ll spend the night in Sihanoukville.
Day 3: Sihanoukville Excursion (B/-/-)
Spend another day discovering the charm of Sihanoukville. You can explore nearby villages and get a glimpse into the daily life of local fishermen — a great way to connect with the culture and people of the coast.
If you’re up for some sightseeing, check out popular landmarks like Kampong Pier Nup Lok, the iconic Golden Lion Roundabout (Vimean Tao Meas), the Iber Bilkhalifah Mosque, and Mount Sihanoukville for panoramic views of the city and sea.
There are plenty more hidden gems to uncover, so feel free to roam, take in the coastal atmosphere, and snap some memorable shots.
Overnight in Sihanoukville.
Day 4: Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh (B/-/-)
Enjoy your final morning in Sihanoukville. After breakfast, take a last stroll along the beach, pick up some local souvenirs, or simply relax and soak up the coastal vibes.
In the afternoon, you’ll be transferred back to Phnom Penh for your departure.
