Homestay - Kompong Thom

Itinerary
Kompong Thom: HOME STAY at local Community. - 2 DAYS / 1 Night
Day 1 : 0900 hours, we depart Siem Reap and head to Kompong Thom Town. Enroute, we visit Pre-angkorean Bridge, Kampong Kdei Bridge with its original name as Spean Preah Toeus is the best laterite-built bridge of Angkor era which is survived until today. The bridge is located on the main highway of national road no.6 from Kampong Thom to Siem Reap and it used to carry all kinds of transportation of the main highway. The drive takes approx 2 hours and we continue to visit Sambor Prei Kuk, located 35 km northeast of Kompong Thom. Visit the ancient capital of Chenla with its 100 temples dating from the Pre-Angkorian period. Arrival at Sambor Village and we transfer to local house for a night. Local lunch/home cooked dinner will be served.
Day 2 : Early morning, we visit the village works and stroll around daily works of the village. 1130 hours, we depart from the village and continue to Kompong Town for an early lunch. Then continue drive to next destination.
