Tatai Waterfall, situated along the Tatai River in Koh Kong Province, is a prominent natural attraction enveloped by dense jungle. The waterfall remains active throughout the year; however, during the dry season, visitors may enjoy swimming in its naturally formed pools and even walking across the exposed rock ledge due to the gentler water flow. In contrast, the rainy season brings a powerful surge, creating a dramatic 4-meter drop with foaming white water.
The river’s clarity is attributed to its origin in the largely uninhabited Cardamom Mountains. The waterfall can be accessed either by road or by boat, with the boat journey offering a particularly scenic experience. A leisurely ride from Tatai Bridge to the falls takes approximately one hour, revealing breathtaking landscapes along the route.
